The directors of Castle Grove Insurance Services Ltd are delighted to announce that we have selected the Hertfordshire Air Ambulance to receive support as our nominated charity for 2010. We hope to organise and take part in many events throughout the year to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile local cause.

Events planned for 2010 to support the Hertfordshire Air Ambulance include:-

  • The 2010 London Marathon on 25th April 2010. Please support our director Jason Brimson as he runs the London Marathon in aid of The Hertfordshire Air Ambulance. The Hertfordshire Air Ambulance is a helicopter emergency medical service with the ability to access remote areas quickly, bringing highly qualified clinicians and sophisticated life-saving equipment to patients within the first few vital minutes of an emergency. It costs around £120,000 each month to operate the Hertfordshire Air Ambulance and the Charity is reliant upon donations from the people of Herts who give generously in order to keep the county’s life-saving helicopter service in the air. Please click the following link to donate or to find out more.

Our directors and staff regularly undertake challenges to raise money for charity. Over the last few years these have included

  • The 2009 Paris Marathon on 5th April 2009. Please click the link below to sponsor him in aid of Sue Ryder Care - a charity caring for people who are seriously ill, helping them to get the best from life. Their approach considers every aspect of an individual’s wellbeing by listening to and supporting their choices. They help put back the dignity, independence and confidence that the disease takes away, enriching people’s lives and those of their families. Their expert care helps people living with Cancer, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Brain Injury. Visit www.suerydercare.org for more details
